Handwriting

 I learned how to write the alphabet, numbers and symbols properly.

I watched a video to show neat handwriting. I wrote the characters neatly into my writing book.

I need to practice writing my alphabets on the line.

LS1 Treaty

LS1 learnt about the 3 ps in the treaty of waitangi and how the apply to our learning.

Mr Ogilvie introduced the 3 ps in the treaty of waitangi. 

Then in groups we wrote statements about the 3 ps in LS1.

 LS1 figured out the 3 ps are all connected. After that we used our group ideas and thought about how they connected to me.

I chose these 3 statements because they will help me be successful with my learning in LS1.

I will start by making sure my friends participate.

Basic facts Sheets

I created a basic facts chart using Google Sheets. 

My partner and I started by doing number bonds and doubles to 10 and 20.

While finding out some basic facts using uni link cubes, I recorded the results in a spreadsheet.

After I created a chart by using spreadsheet shortcuts like copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) and selection dragging to quickly fill in the repeated information.

I thought this activity was fun and I also learnt alot.

SLJ Week 1 Activity 1

 LI: To collect materials needed to successfully complete our weekly superpower building missions with Nano Girl. 

This morning LS2 worked in groups with our Year 4 students to help them create their first Summer Learning Journey blog posts. PBS are still at school this week so finding some of the materials we needed for our treasure hunt was easy. Our challenge is going to be able to find all the materials we need at home now. I found this activity interesting because I am looking forward to the activities that are yet to come.
