Basic facts boxes

Today I completed a basic facts speed demon up to 20.

My results were 100/100 and my time limit was 4 minutes and 45 seconds.

I want to improve on my time limit and move on another level.

Typing

Today I completed a can-do thats called Dancing mat typing. This activty helps me from typing faster without looking at my keyboard.

First I went on Dancing mat typing and put on a 15 minute timer.

Then I put my fingers in the right place on the keyboard.

Last I put my results on a google slide. The i wrote on what need to improve and do.

I need to practice on typing faster and to not look at the keyboard.

Persuasive

My partner and I learned how to use persuasive speech.

First I watched 2 videos that were about brainstorming. We brainstormed different topics such as the world, school, and myself. Then after we made a google document to write down our ideas.

Next We made a table to write down our ideas, 5 on the world, 5 on school, and 5 on myself.  

To finish up we used the traffic lights. Red means don't use it, and yellow means think of it, and green means you can use it. 

I enjoyed using the traffic light game. I would like to try it out.

I completed a speed demon up to 20.

Next time I want to practice up 100.

Duffy Assembly

LS1 went to the duffy assembly.

First they sang some songs for us. Then we joined and sang with them then after singing they introduced themselves. There were 3 actors but 5 roles: Duffy, Duffy's sister Scruffy, Duffy's mum, Duffy's Aunty, and Duffy's teacher.

Later when the play started we watched. In the beginning Duffy and Scruffy stayed at their aunt's farm house because her mom had to work and there was nobody else to watch Duffy and Scruffy. One day Duffy went to his online class and pretended that his wifi wasn't connected well.

In the end Scruffy was scared to get sick so she cleaned everything she touched. One day Scruffy cleaned Duffy's favourite book and smudged it and Duffy and Scruffy got into a big argument and Duffy ran away. Duffy ran far away and fell into a big hole and got stuck and found his aunt's favourite chicken. The next morning Duffy got rescued from his aunt and Scruffy.

I enjoyed the play because it showed teamwork at the end and it was fun to watch.  

Party Popper Prototype

My group and I tested different party poppers.

First we tested different rubber bands to pick. We tested the thick rubber, and then we tested the medium rubber band, last we tested the small rubber band.  My group and I thought the medium rubber band was the best because it hit the cup loud and hard.

Next we choose something for our weight. My group tried out a pen for the weight, the pen shot the filling out great. So we chose the pen.

Lastly, we put everything together and tried it out. It was loud and great. The filling went out of the cup. 

I learned a lot about making party poppers.

These vaules are important to PE becasue we need to listen so we know what to and we need to have respect to there equipment and have a good attitude.
