SLJ Week 1 Activity 1

LI: To collect materials needed to successfully complete our weekly superpower building missions with Nano Girl.

This morning LS2 worked in groups with our Year 4 students to help them create their first Summer Learning Journey blog posts. PBS are still at school this week so finding some of the materials we needed for our treasure hunt was easy. Our challenge is going to be able to find all the materials we need at home now. I found this activity interesting because I am looking forward to the activities that are yet to come.
How are you cooperating with the Summer Learning Journey?

Awesome to see you have managed to collect some items around your classroom for this activity. In regards to the audio of the video maybe next time consider recording somewhere without any background noise so that the audio is clear.

Thank you for sharing the first activity for the Summer Learning Program, it is great to hear that you will be participating in the program throughout this summer. I am excited to see your future blog posts.

  3. Hey Haylee, Mayshar and the other team members,

I’m Daniel from the SLJ Blog commenting team. I’m looking forward to seeing all your amazing blog posts and I hope you’re enjoying your summer.

That’s awesome to see you school is getting the younger and older students together to help each other through the task. I see you’ve got lots of useful equipment there to help you out with the future tasks from Nanogirl.

We’ve had a sneak peek at the challenges Nanogirl has in store for you and they look really exciting, I’m looking forward to seeing how you guy’s tackle the challenges ahead.

It’d be great to make sure you included the names of everyone who was involved with your team so they get credit but also so we can give them feedback and praise on their bogs too.

Please share this with the rest of your team if you can and maybe ask if they’d like to register for the SLJ challenges if they haven't already.

Everyone who participates will receive a certificate and a digital badge for their blog and there are some great prizes up for grabs for our most active bloggers. It's also a lot of fun! You can register here.

    Great stuff Team.
See you later in the comments.
