Keywords

I learnt about keywords.

 

My group and I picked 3 keyword on this book called School journal we read  a section of the book

it was called un wanted visitors

I read the introduction and found some keyword. These are the 3 keyword that I found. Sinffer dog, cute beagle, and quarantine officer, fruit fly camping gear and dairy products,.

I really enjoyed this activity and I would like to do it again

Problem Sloving

Today in groups we did problem sloving.

First we looked at the sheet and wrote down the answers. We looked at the answer 1 by 1.

Then we mark the answers. The results were 5/6 we got all of them coorect excepted for 1.

I enjoyed this activity but I think I need a little more pratice.

Balancing

We did balancing activtys in our envoirment

Today we took a arange of photos.

First we took a photo on the bench we all stood on 1 leg.

In this photo I am balancing on Taya and Daeyna and Genesis is balancing on me.

This activity was a liitle hard becasue it was all balancing with eachother.

Maori

 This week LS1 learned some new questions.

We learnt new questions. Kau marama? (Do you understand?) , Kua mutu? (Finished?). I practiced until I said it properly.

Balance

This week Mr Ogilvie taught us how balance. Then we did some poses.

The first thing we did was balancing on the beam. The aim of the game is to have two people from each group to walk on the beam and try to not lose their balance. 

The second activity we did was to try to balance on a ball. We had to go in a groups of 3. My partners were Daeyna, and Miley. I stood on the ball and Daeyna and Miley held my arm and when I was more balanced they both let go of me and I stood still for a couple of second but then I lose my balance.

This was a little hard for me I need to improve on balancing on a ball.

Predicting

I learned that predicting is when you guess something that hasn't happen.

I made predictions about the information in the book Winter Sport.

Predicting was a little hard for me but then I got used to it.

Simple Machine are tools that help people move an object.
